Band and Rice Visit: Apr 4th - Apr 10th

This week, I had Pre UIL for band! That was my last Pre UIL performance ever, so it feels quite strange that my flute playing career is almost over since band is almost completely done. This has been something constant throughout my middle school and high school years, so it feels like an era of mine is coming to a close.

This week, I also had a financial aid meeting with an officer from Rice. I really hope to go to this very fine institution, but unfortunately, the cost is very high for my family as of right now. They said that there was not much they could do, which definitely was a major setback. I am not sure if I can go now, but I still have a couple of weeks to decide.

In addition, I was able to visit Rice in person for Owl Days! I had so much fun meeting my potential classmates and roommates in person and absolutely fell in love with the style of teaching and the campus. In general, I love traveling to Houston since it is a hub for medical activity and thus is very interesting to me!
