This week was full of busy events! I was able to apply to my first college: UTD! In addition, my college application deadlines for UT Austin and Baylor are looming closer and closer, making this week very busy full of writing and revising. I was able to deeper explore my interest in the healthcare field and how I would be able to engage in this passion in these different college environments.

Despite all of this work, I was able to start and mostly finish my 5th research assessment. I am doing it over the article “3D printing guided cardiac autotransplantation for treatment of a giant complex primary left atrial tumor.” This was extremely interesting and ground breaking research. It dealt with the resection, or cutting out tissue, of the heart, removing the tumor. Then the researchers were able to successfully 3D print replacement tissue, providing a transplant for the patient.

Overally, this week has had a lot going on, but I was luckily able to still get some ISM work done!
