Building a Brand: Sept 6th - Sept 12th

During this week of ISM, the main thing we focused on was building a resume as well as professionalism. I was able to utilize Canva and choose a template that matched to my website, and learned about the importance of choosing a resume that matches you and the parts that go into it like the font, text colors, presenting info, etc. In fact, I actually had already made a resume earlier in high school and I realized that it needed a lot of work! As a result, I ended up entirely revamping it. In addition, we also delved into the need to be professional while going out to network and for interviews in order to leave a good impression. Both of these aspects of the week helped my build my brand and up my professionalism.

For my topic itself, I am now actually leaning more toward cardiology. I realized that this field seems like a better fit for me than dermatology due to my passions and interests.

I really value the learning experience we get in ISM; I will definitely be able to take this information out to the real world even after high school!
