Finishing Touches and Traveling!: Feb 14th - Feb 20th

During this week, I completely finished my board. All that I had to do was figure out a way to paste the information to the board itself, which I did by using double sided tape and a glue stick. I usually struggle with procrastination, however I was very diligent about completing this project in a timely manner, so for that I was quite pleased with myself.

In addition, we had a four day weekend this week and I was able to tour Rice and UT Austin! I had a lot of fun and felt that it was very insightful to be able to see the colleges in real life and talk to the students attending them. In addition, I found out that I got into the Polymathic Honors program at UT. This is an extremely selective program (takes about 50 out of 3000 students) and I am very excited to take part in it. I plan to continue my ISM cardiology research through the program and learn more about healthcare policy to improve hospital efficiency and patient care as a whole.

Overall, this week was a great way for me to get out of the house and explore my future research options.
