During this week, I was able to finish applying to four colleges! They were Rice, UPenn, John Hopkins, and Harvard. I am almost entirely done applying to college, which is a huge stress reliever! Now, I should be able to focus much more on my extracurriculars like UNICEF and tutoring through Learning Curve, as well as on ISM in general.

In addition, I was able to complete the interview with Dr. Parmar! He gave me a ton of insight into the field. For example, I learned about the implications of Heartflow 3D modeling in the field, intersecting AI and cardiology. I appreciated that he was very honest about working in Cardiology and the tolls it can take on a person. I think that is extremely important to be aware of before committing to the career. In addition, Dr. Parmar also offered me a shadowing opportunity! I think that he could be a great potential mentor. I was extremely excited to get this chance to see the procedures of Cardiology done in real life. I am not currently sure how Baylor Scott and White (the hospital that Dr. Parmar works at) does shadowing, but I think I will be able to come in some time this month!
