Music and Connection: Oct 25th - Nov 1st

This week I went to the state marching band championships! It was so much fun and I had an absolute blast. In addition, I was able to submit my UT Austin and Baylor applications! This was a huge relief for me and I was very proud of myself for being able to finish everything on time.

I also was able to talk to a family friend, gaining a contact to do an interview on! Their name is Dr. Vijay Kumar Nama, and he works in the gynecology department. Dr. Nama works at Medical City in Dallas, which is relatively close to me. I am excited to gain his insight about the medical field, as well as possibly get new connections to other cardiologists near me. I have contacted him, but I am still waiting to hear back for now.

Overall, this week I was able to engage with my passion for music, as well as grow my network!
