This week was Thanksgiving break! I had a lot of fun. I was able to go to a friendsgiving party to meet up with a lot of people I hadn’t seen for a while and I also worked on my UT Honors Application and Vanderbilt. It was super busy because I had a lot of work to do, but I realized that Vandebilt as a college would be an amazing fit for me due to its pre med program and opportunities!
This week, I also started on my original work. I ran into a couple of issues, and realized that a main part of my project, which was to take pictures of the procedures that my mentor does. This would not be possible because I do not have a mentor as of now. I am not entirely sure as to how I am going to resolve this issue and what I am going to transition to because I am still in the brainstorming process. Right now I am leaning towards a pamphlet. I am hoping to talk to a community organization (not sure as to what organization yet) and have these pamphlets distributed to underserved communities. This way I will be able to keep the goal of educating the community intact.
